. . Company Background
. .
. . BHNS was started as a closed corporation in 2009 by Eileen Siney, a Registered Nurse and Hospice volunteer, who realized that there were no services available in the Richards Bay area for home nursing.
Caring for a convalescing, frail or terminally ill person at home can cause stress for the rest of the family and jeopardize employment in this unstable economic environment. We are here to assist the family to cope by taking over the responsibility of caring for the patient’s daily needs.

Care Givers are not medically qualified but have all completed a professional Health Care Assistant course at a reputable training institution.

All staff are carefully screened and are competent to perform to BHNS Code of Conduct.
For Home Care Patients and Nursing procedures we will work closely with the patient’s Doctor and work according to his orders. A medical report will be submitted to the doctor, and the Medical Aid if required, on a weekly basis.
